Juror Information / Juryroom
Please do not ignore jury notices. Although in-person jury trials are not being conducted in counties currently under the Red Phase, a pool of jurors must be maintained. Please fill out and return the questionnaire, and respond to the jury notices.
When we prepare to return to in-person jury trials, please know that we are taking steps to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. You can read more about these steps in our Pandemic Response Plan.
Our court staff are understanding of situations that may arise. If you are feeling unwell, or believe that you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, please contact your court as soon as possible.
COVID Jury Precautions Video
Dear Utah Citizen:
As a juror, you play an essential role in America's justice system. Your role is based on the tenets of a free society found in the Utah and U.S. Constitutions.
American citizens have the right to a fair trial and jurors ensure this right is upheld. Jury service is a chance to participate in the democratic process, as well as an opportunity to learn more about how the judicial system works.Though jury service may at first seem inconvenient, afterwards jurors typically say they've enjoyed being part of the process.
This website will provide an overview of what you can expect if selected to serve on a jury. Use the links in the box above to select the content you would like to view.
Thank you for serving!
